  2. Love it, thought it was great! One big thing, though - punk didn't start in London until 1976. It might have started creeping in a bit in late 1975, in very hip circles, but it definitely wasn't around in 1974, and no-one had gelled mohawks - the original punks used to make their hair stand up with undiluted shampoo and hairspray; I don't think hair gel existed then. If you want to know anything else like that, just ask - I was a teenager and going to gigs and stuff in London and elswhere in the mid to late 70s! I don't think the term 'heavy metal' was used until the late 1970s, but we definitely knew what it was; Black Sabbath were really popular then.

Always happy to help out with practical details like these!!! Love what you've done, though - we need more rock fiction!

  3. Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I read both Metal Urge and Metal Heart when I bought my first Kindle in 2013 after loosing my father to cancer and absolutely loved the storyline. Reading became my lifeline for quite some time as I was dealing with my Mum's depression and it took me to places where I could loose myself. Having enjoyed your writing so much, I eagerly awaited another book, hopefully No3 in the series but nothing else came and over time, you seemed to disappear altogether. I don't know if you just stopped writing or if you write under another name but I really wanted to let you know you are missed. If you are writing under another name then I'd love to continue reading your books! Best wishes....whatever you are doing!
